Role

We are hiring an experienced full-stack product engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our web-based applications, working closely with the commercial and product teams to deliver high-quality features that meet our users’ needs.

As a small team you’ll be given a lot of autonomy and responsibility, having the opportunity to shape the product and company as we grow. With that comes the potential to make a significant impact at a company with an important global mission.

About Allied

We’re a defence technology company reimagining how capability gets developed, built, and deployed. Our team comes from military service, government, and engineering — united not by background but by purpose. We work as a circle of peers, not a hierarchy. We prove what works in weeks, not years.

We’re backed by leading investors and working with best-in-class partners to strengthen western democracies. We don’t say that lightly.

About You

  • You have a track record of shipping high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are comfortable working across the entire stack and can pick up new technologies quickly.
  • You have a strong understanding of web fundamentals and best practices, including performance, security, and accessibility.
  • You can self-organise, spot opportunities and drive work forward without supervision.

Familiarity with our tech stack isn’t required. As we grow you’ll have a say in how we build, but for context our current stack uses:

TypeScript | React | TanStack Start | tRPC | Tailwind | Shadcn UI | OpenAI | AI SDK | Mastra | Postgres | Drizzle.
